FIX MY FROZEN PC - PLATFORM ENGINEERING TESTING PACKAGE
Source commit: 7754f5e0a710370b35883d28ac51d451f5d9d7c3
Windows x64. UNSIGNED. Not an installer, production release, or customer pilot.

Extract the entire ZIP into a new folder. Do not overwrite older .NET programs.
The included Rust programs do not reuse their accounts, keys or device state.
No service installation, admin elevation, public listener or cloud provisioning.
Do not bypass antivirus protections. Installation hold remains in effect.

Agent inspection (PowerShell in the extracted folder):
  .\frozencare-agent.exe help
  .\fmf.exe --help
Actual enrollment needs a separately approved compatible CA/control plane.
The synthetic platform demo does NOT enroll your physical computer.
Do not run service/enroll/run against customer devices from this package.

LOCAL PLATFORM DEMO
Requires an existing Python 3.11+ and PostgreSQL 16 Windows bin directory.
Nothing is downloaded or installed automatically. Use a trusted local test PC.
In PowerShell, run (replace the example path with your existing PostgreSQL bin):
  python .\start_testing.py --postgres-bin "C:\path\to\PostgreSQL\16\bin"
The command starts a NEW disposable loopback database and the packaged Rust API.
It prints the console address and a random one-hour DEMO credential.
Open that address in your browser; paste the credential and select Connect.
You can inspect synthetic devices/findings, OpenAPI and local operator APIs.
Do not enter real customer data. The DB uses trust auth on a random loopback port:
other processes on this computer can access it. It is NOT a hardened deployment.
Press Enter in the terminal to stop; the temporary synthetic database is removed.
Normal stop and Ctrl+C clean up; a crash/power loss may leave temporary processes
or data. Do not run this demo on shared or untrusted machines.

Self-check without showing a token:
  python .\start_testing.py --postgres-bin "C:\path\to\PostgreSQL\16\bin" --check

NOT AVAILABLE: website login, real agent enrollment, complete service interfaces,
remote sessions, maintenance execution, live payments, production API-key access
or hosted MCP. Human-session business routes require separate accepted identity
integration. This package is a local API/console demo, not the complete product.

SOURCE / ROLLBACK / INTEGRITY
Matching Rust, console assets, migrations and lab source are under source/.
Rebuild from source/ with cargo build --release --locked --manifest-path
agent/Cargo.toml and server/control-plane/Cargo.toml respectively.
Optional AWS signing is not enabled in this demo build.
manifest.json contains SHA-256 hashes of every included file except itself.
Website SHA256SUMS.json contains the final ZIP hash. Hashes are not code signing.
Rollback: stop the foreground demo, keep any older package separately, remove only
this extracted test folder when finished. Never downgrade a customer database.
The demo owns its own temporary database and never migrates an existing one.
AGPL-3.0-or-later; see LICENSE and source dependency manifests.
